Any questions?

What and where is the Penquoit Centre? The centre is owned and run by a wonderful woman called Joan Carlisle who we are working with to create Penquoit Art. In the heart of beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, on edge of Pembrokeshire National Park and The Cleddau Estuary; Penquoit was an ancient half croft where the human inhabitants originally lived above the animals. It has been converted into hostel accommodation for groups of between 10 and 25. The hostel consists of two dormitories, communal showers and toilet block. There are also two private rooms. There is a large dining room with wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped and the centre is fully centrally heated.

Can I come and just be there? Yes, come and explore your own creative journey around ‘Let’s celebrate the land’ or take part in the workshops – whichever you feel drawn to. Breakfast and lunch catering for yourself, dinner communally (please bring food to share) and chance to share experiences. Please let us know if you are coming so we can book you a bed.

Do I have to pay? Where possible workshops are free or heavily subsidised and the organisation of the residency has been, to date 100% volunteer led. Voluntary donations towards these activities and accommodation will help to create more events in the future.
